This Privacy Policy explains how Alarm Clock & Sleep Sounds ("App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. This App is operated by SAT PRIME STUDIO. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data in compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies and the applicable laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS & DATA ACCESS

To provide core features like reliable alarms, timers, and personalization, we require access to specific components of your device.

2.1. Alarms & Timing Management

  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Required to ensure your alarms and timers trigger at the precise millisecond requested.

  • WAKE_LOCK: Allows the app to wake the screen and process the alarm even if the device is in a deep sleep state.

  • VIBRATE: Allows the device to vibrate when an alarm or timer reaches zero.

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Appear on Top): This allows the alarm "Dismiss/Snooze" screen to appear over other apps or your lock screen so you can interact with it immediately.

2.2. User Interface & Personalization

  • SET_WALLPAPER: Used strictly to allow you to set images as your Home Screen or Lock Screen wallpaper directly from the App’s gallery interface.

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (SDK 32 & below): Used only to allow you to select custom ringtones or wallpapers stored on your device.

2.3. Background Services & Media

  • Media Playback Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK): We use this permission to manage our Timer and Alarm features. This allows the app to maintain a background service while a timer is active so that the "Alarm Bell" or "Ringtone" plays successfully the moment the countdown ends. This ensures the alert is audible even if the app is closed, the screen is off, or the device is in battery-saving mode.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display active timer countdowns and alarm status in your notification bar.

2.4. Connectivity & Advertising ID

  • INTERNET: Required to load advertisements, app updates, and basic analytics.

  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used to display relevant advertisements through our third-party partners.

3. DATA COLLECTION & SHARING

3.1. Personal Data We do not require account creation. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

3.2. Technical Data We may collect non-identifiable data such as device model, OS version, and crash logs to improve app stability.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use third-party libraries (SDKs) to facilitate advertisements and analytics. These providers may collect device identifiers under their own privacy policies:

All alarm settings, timer configurations, and wallpaper preferences are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not store your personal documents or alarm schedules on our servers.

We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We prioritize local data processing to minimize your data footprint.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

8. YOUR RIGHTS & OPT-OUT

Under applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Opt-out of Ads: Via Android Settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID).

  • Revoke Permissions: You can revoke any permission at any time through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
